George McDowell
Pastor
George was called to serve as Pastor at GBC on September 27, 2009. We have seen many saved, baptized and new members join our church over the years, so God has truly blessed GBC. George grew up in Niotaze KS, then his family moved to Oklahoma City and during his senior year of high school, he met his beautiful wife, Sherri. They have two daughters who are both married and have children of their own. He is blessed to have 5 wonderful grandchildren. George surrendered to the ministry in June of 1984 and has truly loved serving the Lord!
Ryan Nix
Pastor of Families
Ryan began to serve as Pastor of Families at GBC in April of 2022. He is passionate about bringing the Gospel to all nations and all generations and seeing people of all ages form an authentic community based upon the Good News. Ryan grew up south of Joplin in Neosho, Missouri but was born in Australia. He has been married to his wonderful wife Savannah since July of 2019 and she serves as an RN at St. Lukes here in KC. Ryan graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2022 with his Master’s of Divinity alongside B.As in Biblical Studies and in Business.
Bill Crouse
Music Minister
Bill became a member of Gashland’s Worship Team in 2018 and began serving as Music Minister in January of 2021. He is a native of Missouri and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State) in Kirksville, MO. Bill served churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania prior to coming to Gashland Baptist Church. He is married to Cathy and they have two married children and are the proud grandparents of two grandsons.
